Street Photography

Street photography has become a practice of observation and timing, shaped by the rhythm of everyday life in towns and markets across East Yorkshire. I often look for subtle gestures, passing expressions or small interactions that reveal something about the moment. Working quietly allows these scenes to unfold naturally, without interruption, and many of the photographs come from simply walking and paying attention. This way of looking has become a grounding part of my wider photography practice.

I’ve written more about this observational approach in a recent post, which you can find here.
