Landscape Photography

Landscape photography gives me the space to slow down and connect with the changing moods of the East Yorkshire countryside. Light, weather and quiet moments of stillness often guide how I work, whether I am standing by the coast at dawn or walking through woodland in softer afternoon light. I am drawn to understated scenes and simple compositions that reflect how it feels to be outdoors, rather than just what the landscape looks like. These moments shape both the photographs I make and the way I experience the environment.

I’ve written more about this way of approaching the landscape in a recent post, which you can find here.
