Wildlife Photography

Wildlife photography for me is a slow and attentive process, shaped by the birds and animals that live across the rivers, woodlands and hides of East Yorkshire. I look for small, natural shifts in behaviour such as a bird preparing to take flight or the way early morning light changes the mood of a scene. These quiet details often hold more meaning than the obvious action, and they influence both the images I make and the way I approach wildlife in the field.

I’ve written more about this way of seeing in a recent post, which you can find here.
