SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY – ALAN YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHY

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how print orders from Alan Young Photography are processed, packaged and delivered. Every order is handled with care to ensure your prints arrive safely and in excellent condition.

1. Order Processing Times

All prints are produced to order. Typical processing times are:
• A4 and A3 prints: 3–5 working days
• A2 prints or large format: 5–7 working days
• Bespoke orders or special papers may take slightly longer

If there is an unexpected delay, you will be contacted via email.

2. Packaging

Prints are packaged securely to prevent damage in transit.
Typical packaging includes:
• Flat rigid packaging for smaller prints
• Protective tissue or sleeves
• Postal tubes for larger or rolled prints
• Additional reinforcement for international deliveries

3. UK Shipping

We ship across the United Kingdom using reliable delivery providers.
Typical delivery times:
• Standard delivery: 2–4 working days after dispatch
• Tracked delivery: 1–2 working days after dispatch

Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout or quoted when placing an order.

4. International Shipping

International shipping is available on request.
Delivery times vary by destination, but most orders arrive within:
• Europe: 5–10 working days after dispatch
• Rest of the world: 7–14 working days after dispatch

Additional customs charges or import fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Delivery Issues

If your package does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will:
• Check tracking (if applicable)
• Contact the courier if needed
• Provide updates
• Arrange a replacement where appropriate for lost or damaged orders

6. Damaged Deliveries

If your print arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.
Include photos of:
• The print
• The packaging
• Any damage visible on arrival

We will replace the damaged print at no additional cost once the issue is confirmed.

7. Collection (If Offered)

If local collection becomes available in future, details will be provided on the website.
(Currently, postal delivery is the default method.)
