Bird and Wildlife photography at Alan Young Photography is built around fieldcraft, patience and natural behaviour. The aim is to photograph birds as they are, in real conditions, without forcing the moment.

Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis)
A Common Kingfisher perched beside the water in soft, subdued light. The darker surroundings and muted background help the bird’s blue and orange plumage stand out while keeping the image natural and atmospheric.
Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea)
