Bird photography is built on observation, timing, and consistency in the field. Rather than chasing isolated moments, the focus is on understanding behaviour and working with it. Time spent watching how birds move, feed, and interact often matters more than any single setting.

The images presented here are the result of repeated visits and patient fieldwork across the UK. Each photograph reflects a moment where light, position, and behaviour aligned naturally, rather than being forced.

From fast-moving flight to quieter, more controlled scenes, the aim is always the same: to capture birds as they are, in real conditions, with clarity and intent.
