Answers to common questions about Alan Young Photography, Nikon Z8 guides, downloads, membership, prints and image licensing.
Membership gives you access to the AYP Members Area, including member-only downloads, field resources and selected website content. Membership is currently free. Creating an account does not automatically subscribe you to email updates, so you can choose separately whether you want to receive news and new content notifications.
Subscribing to Alan Young Photography is optional and separate from membership. When creating a member account, you can choose whether to subscribe to email updates at the same time. Subscribers may receive occasional news about new guides, journal posts, publications and other relevant AYP updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in each email.
AYP provides a growing collection of downloadable photography guides and field resources. Some downloads are available to all visitors, while others are available through the Members Area. Each download page explains any membership or access requirements. Files are supplied for personal use and remain the copyright of Alan Young Photography unless stated otherwise.
Some AYP resources are delivered by email rather than made available as an immediate website download. Where an email address is required, it is used to send the requested resource and does not automatically subscribe you to general email updates. Any separate option to subscribe will be clearly shown, and you remain in control of whether you receive future communications.
Selected AYP photographs are available as high-quality photographic prints. Available sizes, paper options and current pricing are shown in the Prints section of the website. Not every image is offered automatically, so if you are interested in a particular photograph that is not listed, please get in touch to ask about availability.
AYP publications include photography guides and e-books covering subjects such as Nikon Z8 setup, field techniques and wildlife photography. Some publications are available as free PDF downloads from the website, while selected titles are also published through Amazon Kindle for readers who prefer that format. Availability and access options are shown on the relevant publication page.
All photographs on the AYP website remain the copyright of Alan Young Photography unless stated otherwise. Images may not be copied, reproduced, published or used commercially without permission.
