About the Fine Art Printing Process
Each print I create is designed to be more than just a photograph - it is a fine-art piece produced with the highest levels of craftsmanship, colour accuracy and archival quality. From the moment an image is captured in the field to the moment the finished print leaves the studio, every step is handled with care, precision and a commitment to excellence.
All prints are produced using the Canon PROGRAF PRO1100 professional printing system, renowned for its ability to deliver exceptional tonal depth, rich colours and outstanding detail. The 12-ink pigment system ensures superb accuracy, smooth gradations and long-lasting archival stability, allowing each print to maintain its beauty for decades without noticeable fading.
To complement this technology, I print exclusively on premium Fotospeed fine-art papers. These papers are chosen not only for their texture and feel, but for the way they elevate the photograph itself. Whether it’s the deep, gallery-grade finish of Platinum Baryta or the soft, elegant surface of Smooth Cotton, each paper brings its own character and enhances the mood and detail of the image.
Every print is individually prepared and inspected. I personally check colour balance, sharpness and tonal consistency before a print is approved. Nothing is automated or rushed - each piece is created to order, ensuring the highest possible standard.
Prints are available in A4, A3 and A2, providing flexibility for both small intimate displays and larger statement pieces. If you’re unsure about which paper, size or finish will work best in your space, I’m always happy to offer guidance and help you choose the perfect option. My goal is to ensure that every print you receive looks its absolute best, whether it’s intended for a quiet corner of your home or a feature wall that deserves a centrepiece.
A fine-art print should be something you’re proud to display - beautifully made, carefully presented, and crafted to last. That is exactly what I strive to deliver with every order.
